Indigenous Student Seminar

Student Life

Indigenous Student Seminar students live on campus, in close proximity to the Hoover Institution, where they attend classes.

Participants not only have the opportunity to study at Stanford University but to live and learn in the heart of Silicon Valley. While program sessions take up a majority of the time, the Indigenous Student Seminar experience extends well beyond academics.

OUR CAMPUS & THE BAY AREA

Nestled within the Stanford University campus, the Hoover Institution is a public policy research center promoting the principles of individual, economic, and political freedom.

With a focus on innovation, and average temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit in August, Northern California is considered one of the most dynamic and beautiful places to live.

Home to beauty, culture, and unique experiences, the San Francisco Bay Area is the ideal setting for a transformative experience.

In addition to Indigenous Student Seminar events, participants are welcome to explore the Bay Area on their own before or after the program.
