2022 Indigenous Student Seminar
Dress Code
AUGUST 8-12, 2022
at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University
We're on a college campus, so you can dress as you would on your own campus. Please check the weather forecast for Palo Alto to make sure you have clothing that will be comfortable for walking on campus between meals and session, and warm enough for eating dinners outside.
That said, you may want to dress more like you would in a business environment on:
Monday evening for our welcome reception and group photo; and
Thursday evening for Mark Trahant’s keynote and our closing dinner.
We will be walking around on campus, so you will want to dress to keep cool and wear comfortable shoes. Most of the staff and faculty will probably wear jeans or khakis and shirts with collars. You might see one or two blazers worn by presenters during their presentatons. You probably won't see a tie.
Please let me Wendy know if you have additional questions. Vague dress codes are troublesome and we don't want to contribute to any anxiety about how to pack.
